TWINS

TWINS
                         MARCY DERMANSKY
Twins is a twisted story of teenage dreams involving the lives of two identical twins, Chloe and Sue, blonde, blessed and beautiful. One twin (Sue) is obsessive and in all probability, psychotic. The other (Chloe) is weak and depressed.  But the story was bit of a disappointment for me. The story started off interestingly, describing how different the identical twins were, and how they were struggling for their individual identities . But then the plot where the parents got divorced and then got back together and staying in another apartment leaving the kids all by themselves was too bad to be true .Then the story went forward , describing how , year after year the girls drifted apart . Even the end of the story was kind of a cop-out .I would rate it 2 on 5 .

REVIEW- OF COURSE I LOVE YOU .. TILL I FIND SOMEONE BETTER .

Of course I love you ..!
I bought the book 2 days back while wandering aimlessly at the crossword section of the mall .I quickly saw the price, about author and one random page. Price is just 100 bucks, authors are Indians and brief intro about authors was stunning; they were fresh graduates and don't know how I imagined that, the story might be about the authors and which I still believe.Being a blogger no other thought apart from buying it came to my mind.
So now lets start with the story of the novel , "Of Course I Love You..! TILL I FIND SOMEONE BETTER..." by Durjoy Dutta and Maanvi Ahuja. This book had already crossed 25,000 mark and still moving on. Both are young and smart personalities. Durjoy Datta is one of the youngest and most prolific authors in Indian fiction scene and Maanvi Ahuja , the other author ,is an alumnus of SriRam College Of commerce.
Coming to the book, "Of Course I Love You..! TILL I FIND SOMEONE BETTER..." is a fictional story which I feel is not fictional. The story revolves around a playboy named DEB with every scene scripted so nicely that u could actually relate to some of the incidences. He keeps on changing girlfriend, having sex with them and going into a new term called Break-up. His last girlfriend Smriti was irritating to him and thus he wanted to leave her but he was feeling it weird to break her heart as this girl was madly in love with him. But then his life completely changed when one of his friends ,Vernita , introduced him to her boyfriend’s sister ,Avantika. He starts behaving sincerely and he owes all his life in the love for this girl. Sadly, this girl leaves Deb saying that she still loves him but her guru- Sri Guru doesn't want her to give pains to anymore people. She had already broke the heart of two guys so this time she didn't want to spoil the life of any new boy as both of them went into drug's world. This left Deb completely shattered and heart broken .He got trapped under depression. The fact that he was jobless made life even more miserable . He wasn't placed anywhere as he was banned to give any more interviews because he misbehaved in the first placement interview with the interviewers. All his friends left him at some point . But then he struggles through the problems and to se what happens next , do read the book .
In my opinion ,the book is a complete combination of emotions , drama, tragedies related to college life .What I liked most was Deb’s character ,and how it was portrayed by the authors . I would rate the book a strong 3 on 5 . Love you Durjoy and Maanvi..keep writing .You rock !!!
